Today we want to talk about something else – getting the right quote from the right man and van. Often, when people are looking for a removal company, the first thing they consider is the rates. Then they pick up the phone or complete an online form and await their quote. Once the quote is received and the price is right, they book the company.
But, then this happens – the removal company arrives and it turns out they need to charge more. There are two reasons for that.
The first is the hidden costs. We do not have these in our company and are quite possibly, the most transparent company in London. You can find answers to just about any question on our website.
The second most often reason is that people thought they had less to move than they actually have. Some people get angry, some refuse to pay and others do not have any other choice, but to pay.
So, you might be thinking. How can you be prepared for that? The best answer we have is to get a few boxes and start packing one of your rooms. You will soon realise that what you originally thought might have been severely underestimated. That way, you’ll be prepared for how long the move might take and end up costing you. Because, let’s face it, nobody likes expensive surprises.
