Man and Van Islington likes to share interesting finds and here is one that’s a little more unusual.
A city council in South Carolina has announced that it is giving away a large office space to anyone who would like it- and who has the funds/the means to move the whole building to make way for surface parking space. Columbia City Councilwoman, Belina Gergel, explained, “We are offering it first to anyone who wants to come and move it and they can have it at no cost for the building, but they’ll have to pay for the moving cost”
The 3,784 square-foot building, which gives a home to three office suites, is being offered in this way so as to hopefully prevent the structure having to be demolished.
