NHS financial boss Paul Traynor has claimed over £18, 000 as part of his relocation from Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust in Kent, to a new home in Stotfold, Hertforshire, before he takes over as Finance Director of East and North Herts NHS Trust.
A spokeswoman for the Taxpayers’ Alliance has questioned whether this large amount was strictly necessary for the relocation, as Traynor’s new job will be paying a six-figure salary, and muted that funds should surely be being used for vital healthcare of the people of Britain at this difficult time.
